Hey!
I have been using blogengine 2.0 for a long time now, but never updated to the latest 2.5 - despite it being out since 27th of june this year. Well today was the big day, and I upgraded without much trouble - actually I only transferred the App_data folder and thats it! I have not transferred my plugins yet, so I have yet to discover any bugs there haha. I even got a new theme! More...

Hey all!
I just wanted to share this small tip of mine, to all of you having trouble running Minecraft on your Nvidia Optimus based laptop. This feature is meant to save on the battery, when you are running less demanding applications by using the onboard Intel graphics, and then kick in with the Nvidia GPU when this is needed, fx by 3D intensive games or in our case Minecraft. The problem is Minecraft ONLY using the onboard Intel HD Graphics card instead of using the much more powerful Nvidia card.
This is, however, about to change

Bungie, a company that started out with developing Macintosh titles over ten years ago. Had one simple dream that they wanted to fulfill with its original Halo: Combat Evolved game: Online multiplayer.
And when they were told that the current Mac OS wouldn’t be able to support such a feature Bungie Joined forces with Microsoft in a joined effort to create a killer app for the upcoming Xbox. And while Bungie did get first hand expertise with the Xbox. They didn’t get to experience their dream come true until Halo 2. But they still helped with pushing the Envelope for first person shooter games. Namely on the consoles!
Bungie have always been known as a company that respected and loved its many fans and followers. And as a last hurrah for their lovechild they developed Reach, their last game before leaving Microsoft for good.
So is this really the last hurrah for Bungie, or should the planet be glassed and forgotten? Let’s find out for our self, shall we.

Hey!
While I was at LAN yesterday, we encountered problems when we wanted to play Age of Mythology over LAN. After a fresh install (with original game discs of course), the game did not want to start. Even after the more recent game patch 1.03, the game still froze right before the intro video or sometimes right after - always showing the following message:

Luckily I found the solution after stumbling upon this thread. The main problem is that either the resolution of the game is set too high, or your directx/graphics drivers are out of date.
Since I was already running with the newest graphics drivers, I tried setting the resolution manually by adding following commands to the shortcut target of the game:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Age of Mythology" xres=1280 yres=800
This solved the problem and made the game start like a charm!
You can find target you need to change in the shortcut properties.

This is the same command used if you want to run the game in widescreen or run it in a custom resolution (just replace xres=1280 yres=800 with your own)
Hope this little tip helped!
