Hey!
I have been using blogengine 2.0 for a long time now, but never updated to the latest 2.5 - despite it being out since 27th of june this year. Well today was the big day, and I upgraded without much trouble - actually I only transferred the App_data folder and thats it! I have not transferred my plugins yet, so I have yet to discover any bugs there haha. I even got a new theme! More...

Hey all!
Wow I barely made the 2 comments pr. month milestone this time!
Anyways, like always I tend to get free hardware all the time, and last time I got an interesting router from a friend, an D-Link DIR-855 dualband (2,4+5GHz) gigabit router WITH OLED display too (version A2 Europe, as seen in the picture) Sadly this beast only worked partially - there were no wireless transmission at all. As all people with faulty routers should do, I started out updating the firmware to the newest, 1.21 EU - nope, didn't help either.

The thing is it had the "Init failed" error (as shown in the picture). I'm not sure if this is a common thing with D-link routers, but some googling showed me similar problems with the DIR-655 router. More...

Hey again all trusty readers! (or should I say the two of you
)
It have been a slow couple of months, without many posts from me - mainly my mate keeping the blog up and running with his great game reviews! (these reviews have actually given this blog quite a few views! But more on that later..
I have been very busy with projects in school & computer problems troubling me. Since im currently on holiday in the (non) sunny England, I have a lil' sparetime so thought you guys should know whats kept me this busy!
First of all:
HTX, HTX & HTX.. To put it simple, we have had ALOT to do lately.. Since most of this is pretty boring I wont put you to sleep with this, but mainly we have to do a movie in Design class (now 2nd time), which I will do in cooperation with Frank. Furthermore we have the SRP project which is a project every 3.g student in HTX have to do.. ALONE of course!.
Second of all:
My main workstation & gaming computer (see the specs below) have been troubling me the last couple of months since the ASUS motherboard and OCZ RAM suddendly didn't want to cooperate.. AT ALL. Mainly caused by my ASUS P5Q3 deluxe wifi-ap @n motherboard having trouble running the OCZ DDR3 Ram @1600MHz in dual channel without constant errors. Earlier I sorted out the problem by flashing the latest BIOS (a procedure I can always recommend when having motherboard troubles) and avoiding to run the RAM at tight speeds (so CL7 @ 1600MHz is a no-go with this board). Like magic, the constant BSOD's and random freezes dissapeared! For almost two years, I had been running this computer with Windows Vista 64bit untill 2 months ago where I finally decided to upgrade to Win7. Again, like magic, all of the problems were back.. WITH THE SAME BIOS SETTINGS!

Hey Folks.
A while back I got myself a new laptop, an Asus X5DAB to be exact. A fine little notebook for most of my daily purposes and needs.
But over time I discovered a severe flaw with the laptop, its air flow. A while back when Johannes and I popped the lid off the laptop to replace the RAM we discovered that the air flow of the laptop was quite flawed. And by flawed we mean poorly designed. Since everything that was cooling the CPU was the regular fan connected with a cobber tube duct.
We of course began investigating the temperatures and sure enough this came up from EVEREST:
